We have been caring for the needs of the Southland Community since 1878. Our facility, which was completely renovated in 2002, has a large Chapel, car park, total wheelchair access and full catering facilities.

Our experienced staff, are available 24 hours a day to offer guidance to bereaved families wherever and whenever a death occurs. Private meetings are available to those who would like to discuss their own funeral wishes.

As part of our ongoing commitment to caring for bereaved families, a Bereavement Support Group meeting is held at regular intervals, either at our premises in a group setting, or individually with Mrs Dorothy King. These are informal gatherings, where people can share their feelings with one another and our guest speakers. Men are also encouraged to attend these, or our men only meetings. Community education seminars are held yearly with Pam Heaney, who has over twenty years extensive experience, working with loss, grief, death and bereavement. At the end of each year, families are invited to attend our Candlelight Remembrance evening.
