M.V.S Limited is a small company based in Invercargill, we are manufacturers of quality steel furniture, shop fittings and general engineering. Our main product line is steel furniture, we manufacture many different types of tables, chairs and barstools for clients in the education and hospitality areas.
Educational
Many Southland schools utilise our laminated tops on their student desks and tables. We provide a refurbishment service for all schools. Our education range is quite varied, from teacher's workstation to porcelain on steel whiteboards and even T Ball and Cricket wickets.
Our Mobile Science Lab which as it name suggests, is just that - a completely mobile, very easily set up unit for science experiments; a real bonus for schools, as they do not have to spend money on a full science room. It comes complete with gas bottle, Bunsen burners and a whiteboard. Some schools prefer our Metal Edged Products. Our metal edging is aluminium, extremely hard wearing and looks good too. The Southern Institute of Technology has used our furniture extensively in their administration block, classrooms, computer suites, childcare facilities and Bookers café
Commercial
 We have our own joinery and upholstery divisions, allowing us to laminate tables, desks, bench and counter tops. We also upholster our own chairs and bar stools, and specialise in wine and glass holders and hand / foot rails. You may have seen our furniture in such places as "Global Bites" in the Farmers building in Dee St Invercargill, also at the "Cabbage Tree" Otatara, "The Mayfly café" Lumsden and in many other café?s and Restaurants throughout Southland.
 Our range of furniture includes rest home and hospital orientated products including hip replacement chairs, commodes, walking frames and other aids senior citizens.
Our other main line is the manufacture of shop and commercial fittings and furniture. In Invercargill we have supplies fittings to "Fredrick's Menswear" with uniquely styled counter, display racks, stools and coffee tables .
This style of shop fittings is also the featured new look for Farry's Menswear in Dunedin, Palmerston North and more recently their Wellington Shops.
Wooden furniture restoration and refurbishment is another area we can assist you, whether it is wooden tables, chairs, bedroom furniture or doors that need refurbished, scratches removed or a new coast of lacquer, we are happy to give quotes.
Woodstripping: This service is now available for doors, skirting & architraves.
