Radio Southland is Southlands only Community Radio Station.

The broadcast cover is Invercargill, Riverton/Colac Bay, Bluff, Otautau, Te Anau and lower Gore, at 96.4fm also through new broadband technology.

Radio Southland is first and foremost a 'Community Access' radio station which is partially funded by New Zealand on Air. They make programmes that target a wide range of interests, community groups, organisations and individuals.

Community Radio is able to offer the opportunity to get your message or your passion across to your community on a vehicle and at a price not usually available to the general public.

Radio Southland's objective to programming is to broadcast a reflection of the many and varied groups within the Southland community and as a result of their philosophy and skills they deliver an amazing diversity of programmes.
Radio Southlands operates 24 hours a day and when not playing community programming it plays a mix of Kiwi music and world easy listing music.
